This is a 2-yearcontractposition, working week Monday Friday, from 9:00am 5:30pm. Your new job Key Duties & Responsibilities: Support the Land and Habitat Business Unit with project delivery, including rehabilitation, decommissioning, NPWS services, greenway, and other initiatives. Provide cost-effective land and engineering survey services to ensure accurate data for decision-making and operations. Collaborate with stakeholders to define survey goals and exchange information for project delivery. Collect and analyse survey data to assist in project planning, peat rehabilitation, drainage, and silt control. Assess peat deposits using the Von Post Field Test to aid restoration efforts for the Energy Business Unit. Assist the Ecology Department with bog rehabilitation and restoration design and management. Adhere to Health, Safety, and Welfare guidelines to ensure workplace and public safety. Participate in Performance Management to meet personal and team goals. What are we looking for? Level 8 Civil Engineering Degree along with 3 years of relevant experience. Experienced with surveying instruments: GPS, total stations, theodolites, digital levels, lasers; skilled in calibration and adjustment. Proficient in digital survey data processing and AutoCAD drawings preparation. Knowledgeable in GIS systems and data translation. Understanding of various property ownership and title forms.
