Job Description
A dynamic and challenging role in the Audit & Assurance service line, leading sustainability assurance engagements across all industries as a Senior in charge, with a focus on delivering high-quality services and making a positive impact for clients and the environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead sustainability assurance engagements across all industries
- Take ownership of all aspects of engagement delivery
- Support client business development activities for sustainability
- Demonstrate ability to support proposals and expand opportunities in this area
- Leverage in-depth knowledge of the sustainability landscape to act as a trusted advisor for client stakeholders
- Support thought leadership and market eminence related to sustainability
- Build technical knowledge across the wider Deloitte internal team
**About You:**
- Desire to work in a high-performing team covering a range of sustainability matters
- Understanding of all spectrums of sustainability (Environmental, Social and Governance)
- Knowledge of sustainability reporting frameworks and standards (e.g. TCFD, GRI, UN SDG, UN PRI, CSRD/NFRD, SFDR, EU taxonomy)
- Academic excellence and relevant qualifications (e.g. assurance experience, qualified accountant, sustainable development, environmental sustainability)
- Experience in professional services with specific audit/assurance experience in a senior capacity
