Metec is looking for a sustainability Engineer - Position is based in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland. To be eligible for this position, you must hold a working Visa.The Metec team of consulting engineers collectively bring over 200 years experience to every project. Our highly qualified and experienced team provides an end-to-end solution that encapsulates good design, and innovation.The RoleThis role presents a fantastic opportunity for a sustainability engineer with a WELL experience who shares our values of sustainability, energy saving and building performance.The successful candidate will have the following skills:Previous WELL project experience is a must (at least 2-3 projects.)Architectural, Science or Engineering Background is a preferenceExcellent research and development skillsLEED AP with speciality is a plusProficiency in EnglishKey Tasks will be as below:Identifying key challenges and recommending solutions for implementing WELL and the WELL Health-Safety RatingCommunicating/delivering best practices and guidelines to the project TeamDesign management for green buildings targeting certifications and sustainability strategies.Client meetings and team leading.Oversee entire WELL documentation & certification process.Develop sustainability reports & drawings, as necessary.Present project findings to external and internal team members and client representativesResearch and innovation with regards to up-to-date sustainability trends and technologies.What do we offer:Fantastic opportunities for career progressionFlexible Schedule – half day on FridaysSocial events with colleagues - important for team-buildingStaff incentives and reward schemesOnsite free parkingIf you're as passionate about sustainability as we are, and this job application resonates with you, apply now!
