Job Description

Job Spec: Title: Sustainability Executive CJK is a leading M&E contractor committed to sustainable practices, we strive to create a positive impact on the environment and society through innovative solutions and responsible business operations. The Sustainability Officer will support the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives, programs, and policies within CJK. This role is critical in driving our sustainability agenda and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities: Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards. Responsible for the preparation of sustainability reports, including compliance with ESRS framework. Sustainability Program Development: Assist in the development and implementation of the companys sustainability strategy. Collaborate with various departments to integrate sustainable practices into business operations. Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, analyse, and report on sustainability metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs). Prepare sustainability reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability initiatives. Work with suppliers and partners to ensure sustainable procurement practices. Awareness and Training: Develop and deliver training programs to raise awareness about sustainability issues and practices within the organization. Organize events and campaigns to promote sustainability. Project Management: Manage sustainability projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of objectives. Monitor project budgets and resources. Research and Innovation: Conduct research on sustainability trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Recommend innovative solutions to improve the companys sustainability performance. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in a sustainability role or similar. Strong understanding of sustainability concepts, environmental regulations, and compliance requirements. Experience with sustainability reporting frameworks - ESRS. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Skills and Attributes: Passionate about sustainability and environmental issues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
