Job Description

Overview In helping each department develop their Sustainability policies to comply with CSRD, you will effectively be driving the ESG agenda across the organisation. Given that all our clients are public bodies who themselves are already leading the charge in this area you will be pushing against an open door in leading this project Head of Sustainability About the Role: As a Sustainability Project Manager, you'll lead the implementation of our Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) project. This will see you work as the right-hand person to the Head of Sustainability. You'll ensure compliance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), tackle identified gaps and integrate solutions into our implementation roadmap. Responsibilities: Driving the delivery of the Sustainability Strategy, emphasising our commitment to being a Responsible and Sustainable Insurer Leading the CSRD project to ensure timely delivery and compliance with the ESRS framework, and effectively implementing the project roadmap Analysing data to identify trends, insights & areas for improvement in sustainability practices Preparing compelling sustainability reports & presentations for internal & external stakeholders Collaborating with business stakeholders, including the Leadership Team and Heads of Functions, to build strong relationships and support regulatory reporting frameworks Your core competency for success here will be in your power to influence. You will be helping every corner of the company assess at what they are doing, guiding them to more sustainable outcomes. This foundational work in assessing processes in a qualitative way paves the way for a more quantitative approach that is 2 years down the track in the next iteration of this legislation.
