Job Description

Fantastic opportunity for a Sustainability Project Manager to work with my client a major organisation in the public sector.

• You will lead the implementation of my clients Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) project
• You will ensure compliance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), tackle identified gaps, and integrate solutions into their implementation roadmap

Skills required -· Relevant qualification in Sustainability, Business, or related field, with experience in project delivery and data analysis

• At least 5 years commercial experience in a Project Management, PMO, Business Analysis, Operations or Change Management positions
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
• Project Management qualification eg. Prince II, PMP
• Analytical, strong excel, reporting skills
• Strong understanding of sustainability concepts and regulations
• Experience in sustainability programmes is a plus but passion is essential
• Proven ability to lead projects and drive change
• Previous experience in the public sector, IT, insurance, financial services, utilities or professional services

Deliverables –

• Driving the delivery of my clients Sustainability Strategy
• Leading the CSRD project to ensure timely delivery and compliance with the ESRS framework, and effectively implementing the project roadmap
• Analysing data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement in sustainability practices
• Preparing compelling sustainability reports and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborating with business stakeholders, including the Leadership Team and Heads of Functions, to build strong relationships and support regulatory reporting frameworks

This is a 10-12 month fixed term contract opportunity.
