Job Description
Join Apple's OS Build Quality Engineering team as an OS Build Quality Engineer and contribute to the quality and stability of daily builds for macOS, iOS, and watchOS.
The role involves designing and implementing test plans, test cases, and risk analysis, as well as identifying and communicating key build quality issues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Functional (manual) testing of first-party applications on various Operating Systems
- Designing and implementing test plans, test cases, and risk analysis
- Integration testing across Apple platforms
- Identifying and communicating key build quality issues
- End-to-end testing of software features across multiple platforms
- Designing and reviewing tests and coverage plans
Requirements:
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Professional experience in software development or testing
- Ability to investigate, debug, and triage difficult problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
