Job Description

Hybrid working model €60k-€65k/Year + 15% Bonus + Generous Benefits Package Dublin 2 Location Reporting to the IT Senior Systems Administrator, the IT Systems Administrator will support the IT Senior Systems Administrator in the effective operation and security of the company's IT infrastructure and cybersecurity environments. You will be overseeing the day-to-day functioning of hardware, software, network, and security systems, ensuring their reliability, performance, and integrity.  Your Responsibilities: Monitor system performance Troubleshoot issues Implement necessary changes for uptime assurance Installation, configuration, and maintenance Managing system resources Monitor and maintain system security Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations Enhance logical and physical security infrastructure (Firewall, XDR, encryption) Configure and maintain switches, firewalls, NAC, VPNs Coordinate with stakeholders Manage subscriptions and licensing agreements Ensure compliance Capacity planning Monitor and maintain system backups with BaaS vendor Hardware, software, and network issue resolution Contribute to budget development Monitor spending Your Experience: Windows Server (Apply online only), Windows 10/11, Hyper-V, Active Directory Management, Group Policy Management, SCCM, SQL 2016+, Microsoft 365 and Azure platform administration and security, SharePoint, Endpoint Protection Technologies, Network Access Control (NAC) solutions, Backup methodology and management, Check Point firewall Excellent knowledge of and proven experience in best practice Information Security, e.g. Incident Response, Intrusion mgmt., Attack Monitoring, Network mgmt., Threat and Vulnerability Management, e.g. SIEM, XDR, Firewall, IPS, NAC, Server config controls Excellent knowledge of and proven experience in managing an array of IT Infrastructure: Servers, workstations, network switches, mobile devices, SAN infrastructure (ideally Dell, HPE, Brocade) Excellent knowledge of and practical experience in general networking, topologies, IP, sub-netting, Firewalls, routing protocols, encryption standards Proficient in automation tools including PowerShell, Power Automate, Office apps Excellent knowledge of and proven experience in Data Management - including database technologies and methodologies around implementing data privacy and data encryption Proven experience in liaising with an array of external vendors Strong English communication skills - both written and verbal Effective relationship building skills Good people management skills Excellent organisational and time management skills with a demonstrated ability to work on own initiative Kindly note that non-EU applicants are required to hold a Stamp4 Visa to be considered for this role.
