Seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to manage and maintain a high-performance, secure, and reliable infrastructure in a highly regulated industry.
We are looking for a skilled professional with 7+ years of experience in system administration to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Windows Server OS, Linux, Active Directory, and virtualized environments (VMWare).
- Ensure the security and compliance of the systems by managing firewalls, encryption technologies, and implementing security policies.
- Oversee system patching, updates, and backups to ensure the integrity and availability of services.
- Work closely with network and security teams to support Cisco network infrastructures, firewalls, and related security solutions.
- Manage user access, privileges, and policies using Active Directory and Identity Management systems.
- Troubleshoot issues and ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of systems across all environments.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline administrative tasks and reduce manual work.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security protocols.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation to ensure consistency in system administration practices.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience as a System Administrator in an enterprise environment.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server OS, Active Directory, Linux (preferably Red Hat or similar).
- Experience with VMWare and other virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with network security, firewalls, and encryption technologies.
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Power Shell, Bash, or Python.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, Linux+, or VMWare VCP are desirable.
