Job Description

**Job Summary** Provide technical support to IT systems and applications across the Bon Secours Health System, ensuring optimum service delivery and collaborating with local and group IT teams. **Job Description** Reporting to the Head of ICT operations, the post holder will work collaboratively with our local IT team based in Citywest Group office and our Group IT Team to ensure optimum service delivery. The post holder will also support our users in Glasnevin, Dublin. **Key Responsibilities:** * Act as first/second level support for our Glasnevin onsite and Citywest site onsite * Monitor and manage daily ticket queues to resolve issues in a timely manner * Develop a full knowledge of all Hospital Information Systems * Procure, logistically manage and maintain IT hardware as required * Maintain and support telecommunications in meeting rooms (Teams/Zoom Room) * Apply security access for new and existing users on domain and systems as required * Build, troubleshoot and configure IT devices as required * Carry out standard system tasks such as backups, data recovery and user admin (AD, O365 administration, new user setup) * Ensure security updates and patches are up to date and policies followed * Confirm, update and draft new Standard Operating Procedures as required * Liaise with Clinical Users/IT Technical & third-party vendors as required * Participate in the Group 24 hours I&T support scheme rota * Assist in emergency/scheduled work that occur outside of normal working hours * Participate in IT projects as directed by the Head of IT Operations * Collaborate with other members of Group I&T to enhance the overall performance of the function **Essential Criteria:** * Foundation IT certification with specific relevant technical certifications * Degree / Diploma in relevant field of computer science * 3 years experience as a Desktop support engineer (Level2) * IT security knowledge and best practices * Desktop OS Support * Active Directory and O365 admin * LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi Troubleshooting * Service Now and any other IT management Software * End-point patching * Documentation SOPs etc. * Experience of Clinical Systems in a health sector environment **Desirable Skills:** * Able to work under pressure * Good Collaborator * Self-Motivated * Able to achieve targets * Excellent people Skills * Excellent communication skills both verbal and written * Diligence * Problem Solving * Interpersonal Skills
