Job Description
Seeking a dedicated System Engineer Infrastructure to support and implement a global systems infrastructure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, showcasing technical and organizational skills.
Responsible for designing and supporting global IT infrastructure including VMWare, Operating Systems, storage, Backups, and Servers. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and supporting global IT infrastructure, including VMWare, Operating Systems, storage, Backups, and Servers.
- Responsible for capacity management of compute and storage infrastructure.
- Communicating with internal and external customers and vendors to ensure a resilient and scalable network infrastructure.
- Coodinating with various stakeholders and technical personnel during project phases, from initial development through implementation.
- Providing 2nd and 3rd level support for reported incidents.
- Liaising with manufacturer TAC support teams during customer incidents.
Key requirements include:
- 5 years experience working with VMware.
- 5 years experience working with Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
- 5 years' experience working with storage and critical backup solutions.
- Solid understanding of cloud network technologies and ability to provide synergy between traditional and IaaS architectures.
- Telecom experience preferred.
- Proven track record in working with small teams to aggressive timelines.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Commitment to provide high quality and professional service.
- Ability to prioritize work tasks.
- Adaptable and flexible in approach to work, able to work under pressure.
