Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated candidate to ensure mission-critical quality in our products, responsible for ensuring the availability and reliability of test lab resources, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test scenarios and cases. Our ecosystem of technologies is centered on safety and security, with mission-critical communications devices and networks, AI-powered video security & access control, and the ability to unite voice, video, and data in a single command center view. **Key Responsibilities:** • Ensuring the availability and reliability of test lab resources • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test scenarios and cases • Promoting and implementing continuous integration practices, ensuring seamless integration of testing into the development lifecycle • Preparing and presenting comprehensive test reports, highlighting test coverage, defects, and risks • Providing feedback and recommendations to improve the quality and testability of software designs • Setup and maintenance of lab equipment, including RF sites, routers, servers • Leading creation and execution of test plans and scripts for project-based, new software rollout in close collaboration with architects and developers • Maintaining test automation frameworks • Triaging software problems prior to production rollouts • Participating in reviews of architectural and design requirements to ensure testability and identify potential risks or issues **Requirements:** • Bachelors (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field • Experience creating and executing test plans and developing and maintaining test infrastructure • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl, bash, etc.) • Aptitude to independently learn new technologies • Strong organizational, planning, and leadership skills • Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills • Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment **Preferred Skills:** • Experience creating and executing test plans • Experience building and maintaining test infrastructure • Knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and processes • Defect detection, debugging, and regression skills • Experience with C++, Java, or other object-oriented languages • Knowledge/experience in RF/Telecommunication systems • Exposure to Agile/Dev Ops development practices • Experience with Linux • Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence • Understanding of real-time processing in an embedded environment
