This Systems Engineer (Java, Python, Windows & Linux) position is with an insurance company that ranks among the top 10 globally. They have a strong presence in Dublin and are looking to expand their team ahead of new projects, including building new applications from scratch. They're a strong employer with very high retention rates and are appreciated for their culture.
They're on the lookout for a Systems Engineer to build new systems on Windows and Linux (both fully on Azure), along with programming languages like Java and Python. They use Springboot with Java, and Django/Flask/FastAPI with Python (depending on the application). They have a roadmap in place with several projects lined up, including a major revamp of their main customer-facing application.
You will:
- Build new features and applications with Java, Python, and their frameworks
- Join a well-established team of strong developers and systems engineers
You have:
- 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring
- 3+ years of experience with Python and Django/Flask/FastAPI
- Experience with Azure and Systems Engineering
