Job Description

Applications are invited for the following post: Systems Integrator (Grade VII) (Specified Purpose Wholetime) (Reference: 367/2024) We are seeking a systems integration specialist to lead the optimization and integration of the Pure Research Information Management System with other key university systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working with APIs and have demonstrable software development experience at least at a junior level. The successful candidate will join the Common Services Unit and work with the Lead of that unit to define requirements and plan work in an agile environment. Responsibilities include redesigning processes within Pure, integrating it with systems like PeopleXD, Agresso, TerminalFour, Banner, MINUET, and our Research Ethics workflows, and ensuring seamless data flows. This multi-annual project requires a systems integrator specialist with strong communication skills, technical expertise, and an active approach to problem-solving. While this position is being funded through the ARISE project, the role will be expected to deliver on the responsibilities listed below for all external projects under the remit of Research & Innovation. Location: The post will be based at one of the TU Dublin Campuses i.e. Grangegorman (Parkhouse), Blanchardstown or Tallaght.
