The Impact You'll Make in this Role As a Systems Technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by: Providing support to production and maintenance teams Implementing strategic and tactical enhancements to the systems, to provide a competitive advantage for manufacturing.
Actively participating in team meetings Supporting Engineering projects and lead actions assigned to systems group Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Fully Certified Electrician or Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation or Mechatronics.
Essential experience required with PLC programmers, Motion Control, sensors, in-line vision systems (Cognex in particular), Barcode systems, Network topology, PC skills, PC application software, and Systematic troubleshooting/problem solving skills.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Highly desirable skills include, experience with programming of Allen-Bradley Controllogix5000 and PLC5, Control Net/Device Net, Visual Basic applications, Motion Control programming (Sercos, AB, Emerson, Lenze), Barcode systems (SICK, DVT) Experience of equipment and software validation, IQ, OQ and PQ.
Good verbal and written communication skills Strong Teamwork abilities High level of flexibility: shift changes/travel commitments/training courses and project support.
Days: Monday - Friday 39 hours Alternatively Rotating 3 cycle shifts with Shift Allowance – 25% Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1 B status).
