Seeking a TAKT planner with experience in construction project management to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion.
We are looking for a highly skilled TAKT planner to join our team and contribute to the success of a large-scale construction project in Dublin.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure full and robust integration of CM schedule phases
- Liaise and work with Design and CQV Schedule teams
- Create, maintain, and review a programme of work
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Liaise with surveyors, engineers, and architects
- Produce progress reports and forecasts for team members, clients, and stakeholders
- Break down large jobs into phases of development
- Use project management tools to plan timeframes
- Work with estimators to calculate resources needed for a project
- Plan contingency programmes in case timeframes change
- On-going review and implementation of CM schedule strategy as determined by CM management
- Ensure on-time delivery of schedule deliverables
- Plan, prepare, and facilitate key schedule workshops and communications
- Compile and issue weekly and monthly schedule progress reports & graphics
- Manage progress updating interface with CM team weekly and monthly
- On-going liaison with CM team regarding schedule issues
- Attend and input at CM progress meetings
Qualifications:
- Third-level degree in a relevant discipline at a minimum
- 8 years' experience in the Construction Sector with significant knowledge of Planning & Scheduling
- At least 3 years' experience on Life Science and/or Mission Critical projects (ideally in a Construction Management Role)
- Proficient in the use of Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Power Point
- Good communication & people skills
- Good time management skills
- Self-starter and decision maker
