Job Description

Overview We wish to appoint a TAKT planner for a large scale Construction project in Co. Dublin. Responsibilities To be successful in this role, you'll have previous experience of Ensuring full and robust integration CM schedule phases Liaise and work with Design and CQV Schedule teams Creating, maintaining and reviewing a programme of work Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget Liaising with surveyors, engineers and architects Producing progress reports and forecasts for team members, clients and stakeholders Breaking large jobs down into phases of development Using project management tools to plan timeframes Working with estimators to calculate the resources needed for a project Planning contingency programmes in case timeframes change On-going review and implementation of CM schedule strategy as determined by CM management Ensuring on-time delivery of schedule deliverables Planning, preparation and facilitation of key schedule workshops and communications Compilation and issue of weekly and monthly schedule progress reports & graphics Management of progress updating interface with CM team weekly and monthly On-going liaison with CM team regarding schedule issues Attendance and input at CM progress meetings Qualifications You will have a third level degree in a relevant discipline at a minimum and will ideally have 8 years' experience in the Construction Sector with significant knowledge of Planning & Scheduling At least 3 years' experience on Life Science and/or Mission Critical projects (ideally in a Construction Management Role) Proficient in the use of Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint Good communication & people skills Good time management skills Self-starter and decision maker
