Join a leading law firm in Dublin City as a Tax Associate and contribute to delivering high-quality tax advice and services to a diverse client base.

About the Role: As a Tax Associate, you will be an integral part of our tax team, providing high-quality tax advice and services to a diverse client base. You will assist with the preparation and review of corporate and personal tax returns, advise clients on a range of tax matters, and conduct detailed research and analysis on complex tax matters.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Assist with the preparation and review of corporate and personal tax returns.
    • Advise clients on corporate tax, VAT, employment tax, and international tax issues.
    • Conduct detailed research and analysis on complex tax matters and provide practical solutions.
    • Support senior team members in tax planning, structuring, and advisory projects.
    • Liaise with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and effective communication.
    • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in tax legislation and regulations and advise clients accordingly.
    • Participate in business development activities, including preparing proposals and attending client meetings.
    • Contribute to the firm's knowledge-sharing initiatives and support junior team members with guidance and mentoring.

Requirements: A professional qualification (e.g., AITI Chartered Tax Adviser or equivalent) or currently pursuing one. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a tax role within a law firm, accounting firm, or similar professional services environment. Strong technical knowledge of Irish tax law and regulations.
