We are searching for a driven and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our clients tax division.

The Role:
- Oversee and manage the corporate tax compliance process, ensuring accurate preparation and filing of tax returns and supporting calculations
- Prepare current and deferred tax provisions for inclusion in financial statements, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Lead the response to and management of tax audits and other regulatory inquiries
- Ensure timely and accurate transfer pricing documentation, working closely with internal teams and external consultants
- Assist with tax implications in mergers, acquisitions, and disposals, ensuring all tax aspects are thoroughly reviewed
- Review and provide advice on various business transactions from a tax perspective to mitigate risks and optimize outcomes
- Liaise with external tax advisors to obtain the most up-to-date and relevant tax advice, ensuring implementation aligns with the business's goals
- Stay updated on and assess the impact of domestic and international tax legislation on the business
- Support the submission of R&D tax credits and preparation of related documentation
- Offer technical expertise on matters such as withholding tax, VAT, and payroll taxes
Key Skills & Experience:
- Qualified Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) or equivalent
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Extensive experience in corporate tax within a large business or in a tax advisory firm (Big 4 or similar background preferred)
