TAX ACCOUNTANT - COUNTY LOUTH We are searching for a driven and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our clients tax division. THE ROLE: Oversee and manage the corporate tax compliance process, ensuring accurate preparation and filing of tax returns and supporting calculations. Prepare current and deferred tax provisions for inclusion in financial statements, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Lead the response to and management of tax audits and other regulatory inquiries. Ensure timely and accurate transfer pricing documentation, working closely with internal teams and external consultants. Assist with tax implications in mergers, acquisitions, and disposals, ensuring all tax aspects are thoroughly reviewed. Review and provide advice on various business transactions from a tax perspective to mitigate risks and optimize outcomes. Liaise with external tax advisors to obtain the most up-to-date and relevant tax advice, ensuring implementation aligns with the business's goals. Stay updated on and assess the impact of domestic and international tax legislation on the business. Support the submission of R&D tax credits and preparation of related documentation. Offer technical expertise on matters such as withholding tax, VAT, and payroll taxes. Key Skills & Experience: Qualified Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) or equivalent. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent). Extensive experience in corporate tax within a large business or in a tax advisory firm (Big 4 or similar background preferred).
