Job Summary: Tax Assistant Manager position available in a leading professional services firm in Ireland, working with private clients and providing tax-based business solutions.
We are seeking a Tax Assistant Manager with a minimum of 2 years' practice experience to join our Private Clients department. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with partners and senior management to provide a mix of advisory and compliance services to a large portfolio of clients, many of which have an international focus.
The Role • Assist the management team in maintaining and developing relationships with private clients, coordinating service offerings from other departments • Ensure payment and return filing deadlines are met for a portfolio of private tax clients • Work with partners and management team to advise private clients on tax structures, transfer pricing, profit repatriations, and succession planning opportunities • Act as a key member of an integrated client service team working on tax advisory projects • Contribute to collective targets for billing, net fee income, and cash collection, as well as personal and firm-wide goals • Participate in business development and marketing initiatives at firm, department, and team levels Ideal Candidate • AITI qualified and a qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years working in practice • Experience working with private clients • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in interpreting Irish Tax legislation, relevant commentary, and case law • Experience managing client relationships to completion • Fluent English with excellent oral and written communication skills • Excellent organisational and planning capabilities • Ability to work to deadlines and deliver under pressure • Excellent computer-literacy skills About the Company Our client is a leading professional services firm in Ireland with ambitious growth plans and offices in Dublin, Galway, and Limerick.
