Job Description
Reporting to the European Tax Director, the Tax Director Global Compliance is responsible for all aspects of income tax compliance and reporting for entities in Europe and APAC, including tax accounting and reporting under US GAAP. The Tax Director Global Compliance is a member of the Global Tax Team and responsible for one direct report (Tax Manager - Europe). Key Responsibilities Manages and oversees all aspects of income tax compliance for Europe and APAC, including corporate income tax, transfer pricing and related filings in accordance with the Company's Global Tax Policy. Manages and overseas all aspects of quarterly and annual US GAAP tax provision processes that are compliant with Sarbanes Oxley internal control requirements, Management of tax audits by revenue authorities outside North America, including identification of ongoing and emerging risks Plays a key role in international tax matters including Country-by-Country Reporting Direction, mentoring, guidance, and development of staff. Desired Education & Experience AITI/CTA qualified or equivalent strongly preferred. ACA, ACCA or equivalent required 10+ years of relevant work experience, including 5+ years of in-house experience at a multinational company highly desired. 5+ years of applicable leadership/ management experience and professional development of team Strong tax effect accounting and related systems experience Proven commercial experience and demonstrated specialist taxation knowledge of corporate and international tax Demonstrated knowledge of USGAAP pertaining to tax and, where relevant, local GAAP Direct technical knowledge of international tax issues including but not limited to foreign tax credits and transfer pricing. Familiarity with tax preparation software and tax research engines required; OneSource, SAP and other financially related software preferred.
