This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a growing team and support the firm's expansion through new client acquisitions. You will work closely with senior partners and directors, playing a pivotal role in managing complex tax matters and delivering high-quality advisory services. Key Responsibilities: As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing corporate tax compliance and advisory services for a varied portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will include: Managing and reviewing corporate tax compliance processes, including preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns to ensure compliance with Irish tax legislation. Advising clients on corporate tax planning and structuring, including mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and reorganisations, to optimise their tax position and mitigate risks. Overseeing the preparation of tax provisions for financial statements and providing tax-related input for financial reporting. Providing in-depth technical tax advice on complex issues to clients and internal stakeholders, helping them navigate the evolving tax landscape. Leading tax advisory projects, including cross-border tax matters, R&D tax credits, and transfer pricing, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact for all corporate tax matters. Liaising with the Revenue Commissioners and other tax authorities to handle client queries, audits, and disputes. Mentoring and developing junior tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to help them progress in their careers. Contributing to business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and participating in pitches for potential clients. Keeping up-to-date with changes in Irish and international tax legislation, assessing their impact on clients, and advising accordingly. Essential Criteria: A professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CTA). Minimum of 5 years experience in a corporate tax role, preferably within an accountancy practice. Strong technical knowledge of Irish corporate tax law and regulations, with experience in tax planning and advisory services. Proven track record of managing a portfolio of clients and delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory work. Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Experience managing and mentoring junior team members. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment. A proactive and forward-thinking approach with a commitment to professional development.
