Job Description

Our client is one of Ireland's leading construction, civil engineering, and property services groups.They are looking for a Tax Manager to join them on a permanent basis.Reporting to the Senior Tax Manager, they would ideally like an experienced and motivated tax professional with a track record of advising on tax matters in a multinational and Irish business environment.Operating with a hybrid working model, they are also offering a very competitive salary and benefits.ResponsibilitiesPreparation of corporate tax and VAT compliance for their Irish entities within the scope of local and international laws and requirements.Prepare tax accounting, forecasting, and reporting.Provide guidance in relation to cash tax payments and forecasting R&D credits, capital allowances, etc.Work with third-party auditors to ensure the smooth running of all taxation audits.Advise on the Irish tax impact of business transactions involving multiple jurisdictions (for example, cross-border issues, double taxation treaties, transfer pricing, withholding taxes, VAT).Provide tax support in the production of financial statements from a tax reporting and disclosure perspective.Manage all tax-related communications with the Irish Revenue.Closely monitor and respond appropriately to material Irish Government policy and legislative developments, ensuring implications are fully understood by stakeholders.Play an active role as a member of the global tax team within the relationships of the group entities as well as in matters such as group structure, transfer pricing, and implementation of new projects/programs.Partner with FP&A, business finance, legal, Treasury, accounting, and other functions to communicate, execute, protect, and fund various initiatives which aim to ultimately maximize cash.Minimum RequirementsACA or CTA (or equivalent) qualified, with strong Irish corporate tax or VAT knowledge.Minimum 2 years' post-qualification Irish tax experience, preferably within a multinational business.Practice-trained background advantageous though not essential.Systems-oriented and strong Excel skills.A good understanding of the current Irish tax landscape and able to support on general tax matters.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), able to quickly build relationships and deliver clarity to non-tax personnel. #J-18808-Ljbffr
