Job Description
We are a large advisory firm with offices based in Cork and Dublin. We are seeking a Tax Manager/Tax Director to join the team on a permanent basis. The role reports directly to the Tax Partner and offers excellent progression opportunities. The role would be Cork-based.
The ideal candidate will have experience working across multiple tax heads, with a particular focus on corporation tax. Also open to more senior candidates, with the ability to business develop or coming across with an existing book of business.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of corporate clients and private individuals
- Review tax returns of junior staff members
- Research legislation and provide technical advice to clients
- Billing and WIP management
- Working with the wider team to identify new business opportunities
- Coach and mentor junior members of the team.
Requirements:
- CTA Qualified
- Circa 5+ years tax experience within Ireland
- Competent in managing a portfolio of clients
- Experience managing junior staff members
- Excellent communicator both written and verbal
