Our purpose is to nourish the world while safeguarding our environment for future generations.Role ProfileWe have a vacancy for a Team Lead (Fixed Term Contract) in the Kilkenny Food Company facility, Thomas St, in Kilkenny City. This role is on a fixed-term basis of 6 months with the potential to be extended depending on performance and business need. Working as part of a team, the successful candidate will be responsible for supervising production on a shift basis, reporting to the Production Manager.Responsibilities• Comply with food safety standards to ensure CCP are completed and adhered to in each work location.• Conform with Health and Safety rules and regulations.• Ensure good plant hygiene standards are maintained in the area you are working.• Documentation control where applicable.• Keep pace with production flow and contribute consistently to the team output.Requirements• The ability to work as part of a team.• Good inter-personal and communication skills.• Experience working in a factory or food environment will be advantageous.• Manual Handling and forklift certification desirable.Commitment to Diversity & InclusionWe believe in the value of difference.
