Job Summary:
Civil/Structural Team Lead sought for a senior role in Atkins Réalis' Ireland Transportation team, responsible for technical leadership, team growth, and project delivery.We are seeking a highly experienced Civil/Structural engineer to lead our team in Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for engineering.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership on projects in Ireland, ensuring design is delivered in accordance with guidance, standards, and client requirements.
- Grow and develop a team of civil/structural engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Act as Civil/Structural lead on projects, interfacing with other engineering disciplines and ensuring seamless project delivery.
- Input into technical/quality proposals for new commissions and implement a robust quality management system.
- Ensure safe-by-design is core to the design and delivery process, and commit to continuous improvement in own and team performance.
Requirements:
- Chartered with Engineers Ireland or equivalent professional institution.
- Minimum 12 years of postgraduate experience, primarily in a consultancy environment.
- Desirable: cross-sector civil/structural engineering experience, experience of delivering projects to BIM Level 2 equivalent, awareness of developing technologies and best practices, and effective communication skills.
