This is a busy and rewarding environment and a great opportunity to develop your career within Anord Mardix based at the Dundalk site. What a typical day looks like: Liaise with project managers, electrical design, production managers and other team leaders. Ensure team have all parts required to complete the job and order parts. Ensure panels and trollies are lined up and work areas are clean and tidy at all times. Offer support, guidance, instruct, motivate and organise team members. Ensure new staff members receive the appropriate training, are assessed appropriately and are approved to continue employment with the business after an initial on-boarding period. Develop the team to be a cohesive group and work effectively together. Help team members realise their potential. Monitor and manage team members attendance and performance in conjunction with Production Co-Ordinator and HR. Input into planning, instructing, and negotiating within the team or with management. Help to identify training requirements and train existing and new team members. Assess work/instructions received from management. Plan, organise and delegate appropriate work to team members. Monitor progress of work and provide feedback to the team members. Maintain high standards of housekeeping. Actively take part in any Continuous Improvement events. Follow all Quality Control guidelines set by the Company. Follow the Company's Health and Safety Procedures. The experience we're looking to add to our team: Ability to organise workload and use initiative. Confident under pressure and able to handle multifaceted objectives. High level of organisation. Efficient with thorough methods of working. Ability to effectively lead and manage a team. Thorough knowledge and understanding of assembly methods. Excellent time keeping and attendance. A self-starter, takes initiative in the performance of their duties. Computer Literate with use of Microsoft Word, Excel and use of MRP or ERP systems would be an advantage. Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to work is essential including overtime hours to meet business demands. Experience of working in a Quality/Engineering environment.
