Lead a team of medical communications professionals to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Novartis, a leading global healthcare company, is seeking an experienced Team Lead to join its Medical Communications team in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of medical communications projects, ensuring high quality and timely execution of deliverables.
  • Directly manage key activities, oversee quality control, issue resolution, workflow processes, and colleague engagement.
  • Lead, coach, and manage associates in the team, championing people engagement and culture development.
  • Manage project priorities, track milestones, allocate resources, monitor workload distribution, and resource planning.
  • Develop and implement management control systems to ensure quality deliverables and adherence to process compliance.
  • Manage communication with stakeholders through regular updates, feedback, addressing issues, and sharing best practices.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team productivity and efficiency.
  • Be accountable for deliverables delivered by the assigned team, including compliance, adherence to process, customer experience, and end-to-end quality of deliverables.
  • Monitor and report established KPIs and take proactive action to continuously strive for improvements.
  • Recruit talent, manage performance, and develop associates.
  • Set direction, align, and motivate team members to achieve set goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in medical communications, HEOR, or statistics with proven leadership experience.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with a proactive approach to improving processes within compliance guidelines.
  • Experience in leading operational excellence projects.
