Amazon is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a team of account managers and drive the growth of its third-party business in Ireland and Europe.
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of up to 4 account managers, recruiting selling partners, and achieving business and financial objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in people management, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to drive successful projects with a wide range of people.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing a team of account managers to deliver on financial goals for seller recruitment and account management.
- Recruiting and developing selling partners to drive business growth.
- Achieving business and financial objectives and leading the growth of Amazon's third-party business in selected categories.
- Identifying opportunities to improve the marketplace business for all sellers through scalable solutions and managing the rollout of these solutions.
- Sharing learning with global counterparts to drive best practices and identify new opportunities.
Requirements include:
- Fluency in English.
- Bachelor's degree in economics, engineering, or related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in management consulting, product management, or sales management.
- Track record in people management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel and database analysis.
Preferred qualifications include:
- High level of academic achievement at degree level.
- Ability to work with legal, product, and internal business owners to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Strong business judgment and proven ability to influence others.
