**Job Summary:**
Lead a team of community staff to ensure high-quality person-centred supports for individuals with disabilities, promoting dignity, respect, and autonomy.
Job Description:
The Team Leader will oversee the day-to-day activities of frontline residential staff teams, providing leadership, coaching, and supervision to promote a positive workplace culture. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Person in Charge (PIC) in ensuring community compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Guiding and motivating the community staff team to achieve goals and objectives.
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve community services and meet identified actions.
- Participating in working groups and teams to advance the interests of the organization.
- Ensuring individuals with disabilities are treated with dignity and respect, and their rights are upheld.
- Managing and recording house budgets, and overseeing the implementation of CMSN's Support Plans.
- Providing coaching, mentoring, and supervision to staff to facilitate their practice development.
- Ensuring quality improvement actions are communicated, implemented, and reviewed.
- Monitoring compliance with health and safety regulations, and ensuring the risk register is updated and understood by staff.
- Overseeing the management and recording of house budgets, and ensuring the correct and appropriate use of equipment.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework - BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent relevant qualification.
- At least 2 years management experience at a similar level of responsibility.
- At least 3 years' experience in the health/social care or voluntary sector.
- Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Teams.
- A full driver's license is an essential requirement.
