Job Description
Lead a team to reach their potential in the shop and kitchen, ensuring high-quality food and service. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
- Leading by example and being hands-on when required
- Assigning duties amongst team members to match individual productivity rates and skill sets
- Coaching the team for good performance by offering regular feedback and praise
- Ensuring the team consistently follows the 6 Key Points of Service, including Speed of Service principles and the Coffee Calling System
- Delivering delicious food by following the 6 Key Points of Production and the 11-Step Production Process
- Ensuring Food Safety and Health & Safety Standards are consistently followed, and that the shop is clean, safe and well-maintained
- Maintaining shop profitability by maximising sales, labour efficiency and profit through the support of the Big 4 (Forecasting, Rota, Ordering& Production)
- Supporting the execution of successful food launches and encouraging clear and engaging communication between the kitchen and FOH
