Job Description

Position Description DUoS (Distribution Use of System) Billing and Income is a key business function responsible for the billing, invoicing, and collection of ESB Networks Income. This includes Distribution Use of System (DUoS), Supplier Transaction Charges, PSO (Public Service Obligation) and TUoS (Transmission use of System Charges). The DUoS office is a ring-fenced function within ESB Networks with key responsibility for the billing and collection of income for the business. Applications are invited for a permanent, team member position available within the DUoS office, ESB Networks. This is an integral role in the effective operation of the DUoS function, where the successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team responsible for the delivery of high-quality billing activities, to strict deadlines. Key Responsibilities Generating, validation and issuing of ESB networks billing including DUoS, Transaction, PSO and Transmission related revenue. Monitor and follow up on supplier invoice collection. Resolution of supplier queries and disputes. Preparation and generation of change of Maximum Increase Capacity and DUoS Group adjustments. Ensuring sufficient security cover is in place after each billing run. Review and release of Manual Billing Documents. Support a strong control environment, ensuring that all processes & controls are adhered to and fully supported. Participation and input into ad hoc projects that arise and impact the DUoS function. Reporting to internal stakeholders. Experience and Qualifications Essential Third level qualification or equivalent work experience is essential. Excellent IT skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Excellent communication skills and an ability to work effectively in a team. Attention to detail is critical. Strong numerical accuracy skills. Desirable Good understanding of Retail Market Services function and systems. Location This role is based in Wilton, Cork. The successful candidate may work flexibly within their jurisdiction with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration on at least one anchor day per week.
