Financial Accountant sought for 12-month contract to support accurate financial reporting and contribute to finance strategy.
Our client, a leading life insurance company, requires a skilled financial accountant to join their Financial Reporting team.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete financial reporting tasks, including statutory reporting, to meet business, commercial, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide professional accountancy and commercial advice to stakeholders to inform business decision-making.
- Drive the delivery of robust operational finance processes and controls, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Support external and internal audit processes.
- Collaborate with cross-jurisdiction teams to ensure effective teamwork and commonality of best practices.
- Support and participate in finance team projects.
- Represent Finance on governance forums for relevant projects.
Requirements
- Professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or local equivalent).
- Strong technical accounting skills.
- Preferably experience working in the life insurance industry.
- Experience working on projects within a finance team would be an advantage.
