Technical Advisor Needed to Support Paving and Walling Business
We are seeking a Technical Advisor to provide expert support to our customers and sales teams on product specification and applications.
Responsibilities:
- Work within the company's ethos and standards
- Provide technical applications support to customers and sales teams
- Contribute to the design and creation of technical literature
- Support the marketing function where required
- Interact with clients and customers
- Assist with administration associated with the role
- Record and maintain customer and project data on company systems
- Undertake any training required to complete the role
- Be flexible in work practices and respond to changes in requirements
- Assist other departments as requested to achieve company objectives
- Train on company software to assist in the role
- Be prepared to travel where necessary
- Attend trade exhibitions, training days, and sales support days
- Undertake any other tasks appropriate to the position, as requested by management
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of the build environment, construction methods, and building service topics
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills
- Good IT skills with experience of the Microsoft Office package
- Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Team player capable of working with others to achieve company goals
- Excellent administration, communication, and organization skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work proactively on own initiative
