We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Analyst to join our team. As part of our core banking implementation deliveries, you will be responsible for assisting in design review and delivery of a coherent architecture and technology roadmap to support large scale projects.- Understand the core banking landscape of the bank and lead the design of functional and technical solution components.
- Provide guidance to IT partner teams and answer questions in relation to proposed solutions.
- Conduct IT impact assessments and collaborate with business and IT colleagues to create solutions that exceed customer expectations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including management, business, change management, and IT partners.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver core banking solutions, ensuring alignment with overall IT strategy and roadmap.
- Provide oversight and assurance on solutions delivered by IT partners and validate business specifications.
- Act as second- and third-line support, defining appropriate solutions with IT partners and communicating these to the business.
- Conduct IT impact assessments, considering implications of required application changes on wider IT ecosystem.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in core banking and delivery of IT enabled change, with a degree or higher in a technology-related discipline.
- Expertise in web-based technologies and Agile/Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on quality and process improvements.
- Experience with at least one core banking system (preferably Transact).
