Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Analyst to assist in designing and delivering a coherent architecture and technology roadmap for large-scale projects.
The Technical Analyst will work with Management, Business, change management and IT Partners on phases of the software development lifecycle, including Requirements Analysis and Solution Design using existing technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the Core banking landscape of the Bank.
- Lead the design of functional and technical solution components, ensuring alignment with the overall IT strategy and roadmap.
- Provide guidance to IT partner teams and answer questions in relation to proposed solutions.
- Provide oversight and assurance on solutions delivered by IT partners and validate business specifications.
- Act as second- and third-line support by defining appropriate solutions with IT partners and communicating these to the business.
- Conduct IT Impact assessments, including consideration of the implications of required application changes on the wider IT ecosystem.
- Collaborate with business and IT colleagues to create solutions that exceed customer expectations.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience as an IT professional, with a proven track record in core banking and delivery of IT enabled change.
- Experience with at least one Core banking system (preferably Transact).
- Expertise in Web based technologies and Agile /Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Focused on quality and a track record of delivering process improvements.
