Customer Account Manager for a leading manufacturing company in Donegal, responsible for managing customer relationships and driving sales growth.

We have been working with this client for over 15 years, a world-leading manufacturing company that produces products used in the Healthcare, Aviation, and environmental industries. They have a skilled workforce and are regarded as one of the best companies to work for in the area.

The company is looking to appoint an experienced Customer Account Manager on a permanent basis to aid in their existing growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for every aspect of the customer relationship, from generating quotes to reviewing contracts, and identifying customers' needs to providing solutions to meet those needs.

The Customer Account Manager will be in constant communication with other sales personnel and departments to deliver exceptional customer service. The role requires a fast-paced, responsive, and accurate individual with the ability to build long-term business relationships.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant sales/technical experience in a Business-to-Business and ideally manufacturing environment
  • Ability to interact with customers and handle customer queries in a timely manner
  • Generate leads and build relationships by organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers
  • Highly organized with strong administration skills
  • Solution-oriented and focused on customer satisfaction
  • Aptitude for handling complex tasks in a technical environment
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize

The company offers a highly competitive salary of circa €35-40k DOE plus possible annual bonus, as well as significant Healthcare contributions for the employee and family, company-matched pension, tuition reimbursement, bike-to-work scheme, free health screening, and 7 staff lunches annually.

The role is based in Donegal, with the first few months being fully office-based, followed by 3 days on-site. The working hours are 39 hours per week, with flexibility to start at 7 or 9 am and finish at 3:30 or 5:30 pm.
