Technical Delivery Manager, Cloud Infrastructure PFH Technology is currently looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Manager, Cloud Infrastructure to join our clients expanding Team.


Contract Length 6 month contract initially Location Dublin/Cork Hybrid Start Date Oct 2024 To support and enable a digital transformation for our client, a significant and exciting opportunity has been created for a Technical Delivery Manager Cloud Infrastructure.


This role is being created to meet the increasing demands for the design and implementation of secure Cloud infrastructure and solutions that have emerged as they continue their Digital Banking journey.


The successful candidate will have strong project management experience within cloud infrastructure and cloud security technologies and will have worked in a Technical Delivery Manager role previously.


This is a cross functional role requiring the individual to work seamlessly and collaboratively across Enterprise IT Services (EITS), Group Technology and the business to achieve the required outcomes.


Your Team:

The Technical Delivery Manager will work within EITS and will be responsible for delivering secure and resilient cloud infrastructure projects for the bank.


Working as part of the Change Delivery team, the successful candidate will manage and drive the delivery of securecloud infrastructure solutions that will enable and enhance the banks compliance with the regulatory landscape.


Your Responsibilities:

Technical Project Delivery Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Technical Project Delivery process within the Change Portfolio Office within Enterprise IT Services Understand Change Governance Structure and ensure adherence to the processes Develop the project workstream project planning documentation, milestone planning, target operating models, task assignments and runbooks for change windows Provide oversight of all change initiatives within the workstream through consistent methodologies Deliver weekly project RAG status updates to the programme team Deliver secure and resilient solution designs through the project workstream that meet the needs of the business and enabling the Banks strategic objectives Create alternatives and solutions for technical and business challenges and recommend change solutions based on subject matter expertise Create and apply relevant Internal Control Frameworks to support work stream delivery Co-ordinate day-to-day aspects of the team, including active and consistent management of resources Drive the simplification of the managed environment seeking to minimise complexity while maintaining industry leading solutions and configurations Build and maintain relationships with the relevant 3rd parties that support this function Risk Management & Control Ensure a firm understanding of the risk landscape across the in-scope processes Maintain the in-scope control environment ensuring the controls are fit for purpose, aligned to internal standards and regulatory requirement and seek to enhance and automate where possible Maintain RAID logs for the programme, ensuring Risk Register is updated regularly Proactively seek to minimize audit findings by implementing effective and permanent solutions within the programme while considering the wider implications of any findings Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain productive and collaborative relationships across Group Technology and 2nd Line and 3rd Line teams Manage internal and external stakeholders effectively and ensure that expectations and perceptions are pro-actively managed Influence and work collaboratively with key stakeholders Champion a strong team ethos and contribute to wider team objectives Requirements: Essential Detailed knowledge and experience in the project delivery of resilient cloud solutions Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS Iaa S) and project managing these deployments Knowledge of secure and scalable cloud connectivity Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for ID and Verification Solutions Be a dynamic agent for strategic change with key project/programme stakeholders Leverage the expertise of BSIM Technical teams to ensure the delivery of a best-in-class service to key stakeholders across the programme of work Keen awareness of the regulatory landscape and the associated IT and cybersecurity requirements Strong experience in the delivery of enterprise-class solutions within significant transformation programmes that underpin business critical applications Ability to take initiative and produce results across multiple competing priorities Ability to collaborate effectively with a talented team Ability to identify key risks and ensure mitigation strategies are implemented effectively Desired Understanding of Oracle databases, Middleware and banking platforms Knowledge of network security architecture and infrastructure Knowledge and understanding of private cloud and hyper-converged infrastructure design Competencies for Your Role / (Behaviours for Success): Accountability & Decision Making High Performance Teams Communication & Influencing Customer Focus Risk Management Leadership and Change PFH Technology, owned by Ricoh a Japanese based global ICT company, is a premier provider of end-to-end ICT solutions and a managed services portfolio scaling from SMEs to large Enterprise organisations.
