**Technical Designer**
A highly motivated and solutions-driven Technical Designer is needed to turn ideas into reality and find innovative solutions to clients' challenges.
**Company Overview**
Make and Share is a design studio and fabrication workshop that specializes in designing, producing, and installing unique and creative event and activation structures & immersive installations.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Collaborate with creative and fabrication teams to assist with initial project approaches and methodologies
* Create concepts and render drawings for clients in consultation with the Creative Director
* Develop production design drawings, build methods, and costings in close collaboration with the Workshop Manager & Creative Director
* Ensure all technical documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and support the workshop team with solutions and queries
* Source materials and specialists required to fulfill project requirements
* Develop and maintain databases of assets for use across all projects
**Qualifications & Experience**
* Fluent in written and spoken English
* Proficient in Sketch Up and V-Ray (or equivalent)
* Familiarity with Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus
* Experience with project management software, such as equivalent software
* Strong project management skills in a deadline-driven environment
* Comfortable thinking outside the box and open to new approaches
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
* Flexible to ever-changing client needs
* Collaborative and proactive with a positive attitude towards problem-solving
