Technical Director (Structures) sought to lead design team in Southern Dublin, delivering major structural projects with a strong track record of project management and team development.
A top-tier Irish Engineering consultancy is looking for a Technical Director (Structures) to lead a successful design team based in Southern Dublin. As a Technical Director, you will report directly into the board of directors and work on the delivery of major structural projects, including:
- €50 M Stadium Development
- Housing for the Land Development Authority
- Waterford North Quay Riverfront Development
- Hospital Expansion
- Student Accommodation rooms
Chartered status (Engineers Ireland/IStruct E) is required, along with a strong track record of delivering large scale projects, managing people, developing teams, capturing business, and managing budgets and costs. Excellent working knowledge of Tekla Structural Designer, SCIA, TEDDS, CADS, Revit, and Auto CAD is also necessary.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing a successful design team
- Delivering major structural projects on time and within budget
- Developing and implementing business strategies to capture new projects
- Managing budgets and costs, and ensuring financial stability
