Technical Director Process Engineering role at PM Group, a leading international engineering and architecture firm, requires a senior professional to lead Process Engineering discipline and drive innovation.

The Technical Director Process Engineering will be responsible for developing and leading the Process Engineering discipline within PM Group. This is a senior appointment that requires a strong technical, commercial, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
The key responsibilities of the Technical Director Process Engineering include:
- Developing a strategy for Process Engineering across the Group, including forecasting and planning the required capability and capacity.
- Supporting Business Units in strengthening and growing their Process Engineering departments, including department profiling, team competency gaps, and associated training needs.
- Developing targeted SME areas within Process Engineering, such as oligonucleotides, peptides, Fill Finish, and Bulk Bio.
- Working with Architecture and Engineering Disciplines to align and develop cross-functional competencies targeted at key sectors and technologies.
- Defining the range of design activities and deliverables required to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
The Technical Director Process Engineering will also be responsible for:
- Defining and implementing a strategy for continuous improvement and driving innovation of Process Engineering.
- Developing and improving the Process Engineering Service Delivery Platform (SDP) as part of our Quality Management System (QMS).
- Creating a Group-wide standardized way of working for Process Engineering, taking into account specific requirements in local code and industry norms.
- Ensuring the integration of key considerations such as digitally enabled lean design, sector-specific approaches, and design office locations.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for Process Engineering, a safe asset focus, and a strong track record of leading projects in detailed design for Process Engineering on large complex projects. They will also have good working knowledge of Pharma, EV battery, Food, and Med Tech industries.
