Manage the Technical Documentation department, ensuring compliance to work schedules, project timelines and contracts, and maintain a detailed understanding of the Liebherr product technology.
**Job Description:**
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Technical Documentation department, including all department functions, processes and responsibilities.
- Coordinate and manage technical documentation ensuring compliance to work schedules, project timelines and contracts.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of the Liebherr product technology within the team.
- Manage compliance with relevant standards, corporate guidelines, contractual obligations, and legal requirements.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain sub-supplier documentation within an acceptable timeline.
- Investigate and implement new tools and techniques for production of documentation, where appropriate.
- Manage the development of the LiRS content editing system within the company.
- Map the documentation process, identify areas for process improvement, and implement.
- Collaborate with other sites for the development and harmonisation of processes and presentation of technical documentation.
- Recruit, develop and supervise technical documentation department staff.
- Perform other duties as required.
**Qualifications and Requirements:**
- A third level qualification in engineering.
- Management experience within a similar technical organisation.
- Experience in a regulated industry, preferably with a manufacturing background.
- A goal-driven individual with a desire for continuous improvement.
- Dedicated to achieving high quality results and work standards.
- Experienced in developing optimum methods and processes.
- Ability to comprehend, simplify and restructure technical information for different target audiences.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluency in German or another European language is desirable.
