Job Description
The Technical Operations Manager will lead the Technical Operations Team at Core Dx Sligo, focusing on On Market Product Technical Support. Responsibilities include strong leadership of technical teams, product and process improvement, employee development, and ensuring quality and effectiveness of products.
- Provision of strong leadership to support a large portfolio of on-market assays.
- Completion of product and process improvement projects within the design control system.
- Development of technical support teams, career development planning, and a culture of continuous learning.
- Engagement with EHS&E initiatives and behavioral-based safety programme.
- Quality and effectiveness of key results of multiple major project plans.
- Keeping abreast of technical and manufacturing developments.
- Maintenance of product specifications and operating procedures.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Collaboration with other work-centres and site leadership team.
- Vendor partnerships and evaluations.
- Establishment of collaborative relationships with site leadership team.
Required skills include a PhD or equivalent in relevant discipline, 7-10 years postgraduate experience in commercial assay development and/or manufacturing, 5 years people leadership experience, and demonstrated industry knowledge of immunoassay diagnostics assays.
