A global healthcare leader provides technical operations management for diagnostic products, ensuring high-quality, safe, and effective delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical teams supporting on-market assays with a strong focus on customer expectations.
- Complete product and process improvement projects within the design control system.
- Develop technical support teams and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Engage technical teams with EHS&E initiatives and behavioral-based safety programs.
- Maintain quality and effectiveness of key project outcomes through sound design and risk assessments.
- Keep up-to-date with technical and manufacturing developments to meet regulatory requirements.
- Maintain product specifications and operating procedures in compliance with Abbott and market regulations.
- Perform troubleshooting activities and leverage problem-solving tools.
- Collaborate with other work centers to deliver Operational Excellence initiatives.
- Maintain vendor partnerships and evaluate vendor reliability and performance.
- Establish collaborative relationships with site leadership teams and ensure cross-functional decision-making.
Requirements:
- PhD in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field (preferable) or a Degree in relevant Chemistry or Life Science discipline with extensive leadership experience.
- 7-10 years postgraduate experience in commercial assay development and/or manufacturing.
- 5 years people leadership experience.
- Industry knowledge of immunoassay diagnostics assays, including analytics, methodologies, and automated tests.
- Experience leading project teams for multiple complex projects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
