Technical Sales Executive

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Executive with proven technical sales experience in the energy sector to increase account growth in decarbonisation software, services, and solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Utilise deep technical knowledge of the energy industry to find and execute grid services and decarbonisation wins that can be demonstrated and analysed through Cool Planet OS and energy savings to clients. • Lead account base planning, preparing, and executing strategic deals in complex sales cycles. • Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions across demand response, asset financing, and software enablers. • Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition. • Manage all technical aspects of RFP/RFI responses. • Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D/Product Owners/engineering teams for future product enhancements. • Collect and document competitive intelligence to secure wins.
Requirements and Skills:
• Bachelor of Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline. • Demonstrated experience of solution selling sales in the energy sector. • Proven track record supporting complex enterprise software and engineering solutions. • Strong contract negotiation and closing skills. • Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships at all levels throughout an organisation. • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner. • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience. • Work with cross-functional teams to contribute to concept designs and detailed designs for PoVs and ROI.
