Our Client is a fast-growing distributor of speciality ingredients.They are now seeking a Technical Sales Manager for the Pharmaceutical division. The geographical territory is Ireland. This position is a full-time permanent role and will report to the Division Manager.Our Client will consider candidates for this position who are currently working in a technical / NPD role and who have a desire to move into a commercial role.Key Responsibilities:Achieve quarterly and annual sales budgets for a range of Chemical ProductsAchieve beneficial customer relationships by making frequent customer and prospect visits and achieving service levels that demonstrate the Division valuesAdd sales information to Customer Relationship Management softwareDevelop key markets through defined strategiesQualifications and Experience:Educated to BSc/PhD level or equivalent in a relevant technical/scientific discipline or equivalent industrial experienceSeasoned technical salesperson conversant in and knowledgeable of the Irish Pharmaceutical market and experienced and known to Irish companies and customersExcellent communicator at all levelsAble to fulfil customer purchasing requirementsDetermination, energy, tenacity, enthusiasm, loyaltyProactiveAdherence to processes and procedures and using a CRMGrowth mindsetExperience of launching products – understanding the challengesExperience of taking suppliers onboard from zero and building a sustainable businessStrategic thinkingIn return, our Client is offering a package including a competitive basic salary (salary is negotiable and dependent on experience) plus benefits which include an expensed company car, five weeks holiday (25 days AL), pension, healthcare, and a generous bonus scheme.For further information please contact:Karen Shiel on 087 745 2487 or send CV in confidence to karen.shiel@lifescience.ie #J-18808-Ljbffr
