A leading animal feed manufacturer is currently looking to recruit a Technical Sales Rep to cover County Wexford. This is a full-time permanent position. Overview You will inherit an established customer base and you will be calling to dairy & beef farmers in the Wexford area. You will be expected to grow and maintain the customer base over time. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong interest in animal nutrition with a minimum of 1-2 years industry experience. Our Client has invested in its mill operations in recent years and this role represents a great opportunity to progress your career in animal nutrition. Duties to include Calling direct to an established customer base in the Wexford region (dairy & sheep) Advising on diet formulation and recommend suitable feeding solutions. Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients in the agricultural industry. Provide technical advice and support to farmers regarding the range of products. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions. Candidate profile A 3rd level degree in Agriculture A strong interest in Animal Nutrition / Ruminant Nutrition Ambitious with strong communication & negotiation skills Previous commercial sales experience a distinct advantage but not essential. Remuneration My client will offer a lucrative base salary ( DOE ) + bonus and company vehicle.
