Job Description
The Technical Support Specialist will ensure the plant meets its customer quality, service, regulatory, financial and safety goals through effective technical support of DRO and BRO products. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support to the product manufacturing team to meet production targets
- Designing and managing process improvement projects
- Assisting in product development/improvement projects
- Transferring new products from other Abbott sites
- Participating in laboratory maintenance programs
- Identifying and implementing cost reductions
Requirements
- Higher Certificate, Ordinary or Honors Bachelor degree in a scientific and technical field is desired or relevant combination of education and experience
- 2-4 years' related work experience (Advanced degree(s) may offset required years of experience)
