My client who are leading in automation access products in Ireland is looking for a talented and hands-on Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be on the front line, offering your expertise to customers across the island of Ireland. Your technical know-how and communication skills will make all the difference, ensuring smooth operations and happy clients. Whether on the phone or meeting face-to-face, you'll be part of a team that values knowledge-sharing and real connections. Occasionally, you'll have the opportunity to step out of the office to meet customers on-site, solving problems in real-time and making sure everything runs like clockwork. You'll play a key role in enhancing the customer experience by gathering feedback and helping to continuously improve the way things are done. Your voice matters here. What You'll Be Doing Become the go-to expert in A wide range of technology solutions, offering expert guidance to my clients installing customers-primarily over the phone but also in person. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for hydraulic and electromechanical systems, control panels, and other essential components. Deliver hands-on technical training for customers and prospects, empowering them to get the best out of the products. Collaborate with the sales team, offering timely technical support and information. Champion continuous improvement by sharing feedback and insights to refine our processes and tools. Support warehouse operations by advising customers and ensuring a smooth experience for those who visit to collect products. What You'll Need A background in technical subjects (secondary education level or higher) with experience in electro-mechanical and hydraulic systems. 3 years + relevant technical experience Strong understanding of electrics and basic electronics, even without formal qualifications. Knowledge of connected IT systems, cloud-based operations, and internet-connected products. Excellent problem-solving skills and a natural, hands-on engineering mindset. Strong communication skills with a calm, friendly, and patient phone manner. Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Eagerness to learn, with great knowledge retention. A good sense of humour and an adaptable attitude-you'll fit right in with the team!
